Vintage Ludwig 1967 "Super Beat" 13, 16, 20 Drum Kit in Black Diamond Pearl

A unique kit, the Super Beat combines the smaller kick drum of a Ludwig Downbeat, and slightly larger sized tom toms from Ludwig's Super Classic kits. 

This kit in particular is a bit strange. The rack tom indicates that this was a "lefty kit", but the bass drum spur brackets and consolette says otherwise. The bass drum mounts for the cymbal arm are also a bit backwards.

The wrap is in great shape with minimal fading. The hardware is very clean with the only exception being some scratched up wing nuts and a few less than perfect claws/t-rods. There's some small bits of bubbling in the wrap on the floor tom that are very hard to see. The bass drum has some scratching on the underside of the wrap and two extra holes near one of the spurs. The most glaring issue with this kit is the batter side bass drum hoop, which was a bit damaged upon arriving to us. We did the best we could to repair it, but it's still quite noticeable.
