Vintage 1980s Tama Crestar/Granstar II Custom Drum Kit in Heather Metallic Lacquer - 12, 13, 16, 22 MIJ

This kit is in really great condition given its age. Though at face value it appears to be pristine, there are a few things worth noting.

Obviously, not a factory matched set. The "Creststar" name was used for the first run of Granstars, the long lug version of the kick drum was the later Granstar II model. Though pieced together by a previous owner, the Metallic Heather color is consistent through the whole set.

The original tom mounts have been 'upgraded' to PDP branded rims mounts. There are 4 holes under mount that would support the original brackets should you want to restore them to the original.

When we took it in, the floor tom was set up to be mounted like the other toms. Though we didn't have the correct brackets, we set it back up to at least use floor tom legs. We also plugged the original holes with some carriage bolts for aesthetic purposes. The double tom holder is also PDP branded, but the single tom holder is a proper Tama piece of hardware.

There are some blemishes in the finish on a few of these drums. Just scratches, no cracks or any structural concerns. Some hardware has small bits of pitting, mostly on lugs. See pics for details.

4 t-rods on the batter side of the bass drum have been replaced with modern key bolts. When the kit came to us, they were bent up pretty bad.
