Dated Oct 22, 1957. This WFL Contest Model snare drum is in a condition that's rarely seen anymore all the way down to the tension rods. The shell itself is re-ringed, 3-ply Mahogany. All hardware is nickel, and in fantastic shape. Most notable blemishes are on the throw off, one small scratch on the batter side hoop, and on one lug. The wrap is free of any fading, bubbling, or huge scuffs/scratches. There are very, very small scratches here and there, which is to be expected from a nearly 70 year old drum. The badge didn't even need polished because it came to us in such great shape.
