No major cosmetic imperfections of any kind. There is some very light pitting on some lugs, but that's the extent of it. The hoops are replacements. This drum is from sometime in the 80's. Tempus was a boutique drum company that made fiberglass/carbon fiber drums. It's a great sounding snare. Very articulate and punchy.
